Modern comforts meet charm and character in this dog-friendly cottage, that makes a super base for exploring the stunning beauty of the coast and countryside of Pembrokeshire. Sleeping six in three elegant bedrooms, it’s ideal for a group of friends, two couples or a family unit to take time out, relax and make holiday memories together.
Quaint from the outside, this cute cottage just oozes cosy vibes. It manages to perfectly marry characterful features like its ceiling beams, wood and tile floors, plus cottage-style doors with all mod cons for super comfortable living. Light and neutral decor alongside the stylish furnishings make this a calming space that invites you in to relax during your Welsh break. There’s plenty of room to sit around the wood burner and discuss your plans in the lounge or, indeed, to share a bottle of wine at the dining table in the farmhouse-style kitchen. Enjoy watching the dogs or children play on the lawn from the spacious furnished patio; the garden’s fully enclosed for peace of mind.
The Pembrokeshire coast is quite simply breathtaking, with azure waters and golden sands contrasting with rugged and rocky outcrops. Barafundle Bay is 2 miles south, while Freshwater East Beach is the same to the north. One way to take it all in, especially with furry friends in tow, is to join the 186-mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Watch out for possible dolphin sightings as you admire the glinting blue sea. Pembroke (4 miles) has shops and eateries, but also offers history at its amazingly well preserved castle. Meanwhile, head to colourful Tenby (13miles) before it gets too busy (so, early or later in the day) and meander its quaint streets. For a different view and the chance to see puffins, boat trips run to Caldey Island from here.
