Inside, the companionable open-plan living space has a large L-shaped sofa where all can stretch out in front of the Smart TV. At one end, the kitchen has high-end features including granite counters and a coffee machine, and to one side the dining suite has elbow room for everyone. When it's time to sleep, retire to your choice of three blissful rooms; two have a king-sized bed, the third has bunks, and completing the comfort is a smart family bathroom with both a bath and separate shower. For a breath of fresh air, simply open the doors from the lounge and step straight onto your patio, where there's outdoor furniture and a very inviting hot tub. Lay back in the bubbles and, after dark, you can enjoy some of the best stargazing skies in the whole of Wales.
Chill out with a wander to the children's play area, cafe and garden centre on-site, or take a trip to some of the beautiful beaches nearby - Rhossili Bay (13 miles) has 3 miles of golden sands with towering cliffs and Worm's Head at one end, dunes at the other and a shipwreck in between. Surfer's favourite Caswell Bay is 4 miles, and for sand of a different type, the golf course at Fairwood Park is only 300 metres from your doorstep. To explore further afield, Mumbles (5 miles) is home to independent boutiques, traditional crafts and ice cream. Visit the pier for old-fashioned family fun or enjoy a tour of ancient Oystermouth Castle.
