Characterful and rustic Grade-II listed cottage in a quiet corner of the beautiful Eryri National Park. A charming retreat for groups of six friends and three dogs seeking a touch of elegance in beautiful surroundings.
The real heart of the home is the kitchen, a farmhouse style kitchen with a Range cooker and an AGA, as well as plenty of space for rustling up delicious meals to enjoy all together. The dining area has a table and an exposed stone wall which makes this a characterful space to enjoy eating and planning the days ahead. Once you have filled yourselves up, get cosy in the lounge which has a beamed ceiling and an inglenook fireplace which contains a wood burner. As the day draws to a close, climb upstairs to the three bedrooms which are awaiting you for a restful night’s sleep. Each of the bedrooms have king-size beds and en-suite, as well as quirky finishes and beamed ceilings. Two en-suites have luxurious roll-top baths where you can unwind after a busy day exploring, and the third is a refreshing shower room. Outside is a large garden which is fully enclosed and contains many shrubs and trees. Cook alfresco on the BBQ and sit back admiring the surrounds on the garden furniture. Private parking for three cars is provided.
Don your walking boots and pack some snacks and head off along one of the many scenic routes leading to the summit of Yr Wyddfa. The Ranger Path is just 2.5 miles away as well as several other walking routes through the undulating landscape. The pretty, riverside village of Beddgelert (7.5 miles) is close by, with a few lovely restaurants and pubs, a stunning gorge, a heritage railway, and an underground mine.
