Less than 2 miles away, the charming town of Usk, known as ‘The Town of Flowers’, is home to a ruined, 11th-century castle, a variety of independent shops and tea rooms, and a museum of rural life. For gentle walks and challenging hikes in varied scenery, you’re perfectly located between the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park and the Wye Valley National Landscape, and within 20 miles you can reach numerous castles, museums and National Trust properties.

There’s central heating, as well as a electric fire for a warming glow on chilly nights. The kitchen is fully equipped for conjuring up delicious treats and meals, and includes an air fryer, with two barstools providing a comfortable spot for dining. The king-size bedroom is another calm and restful space, with luxury bedding for the ultimate in comfort, and Bi-fold doors doors leading onto the private terrace. An elegant shower room completes the interior.
Step outside and enjoy the woodland views from your wide terrace, designed to feel as if you’re immersed among the trees. There’s lighting arranged so you can use the space from dawn till bedtime, whether you’re soaking in the covered chlorine-free hot tub, cooking with the wood-burning pizza oven or simply lounging in the sun. There’s also a fire pit for toasting marshmallows and telling stories under the stars. Keep an eye out for squirrels, foxes and hedgehogs, as well as buzzards and red kites overhead; you may even hear a badger or an owl. The farm’s alpacas love visits from guests, and you’re welcome to come and meet the horses too. Finally, parking is provided for one car.
