Set on the outskirts of the charming village of Llandegfan on the Isle of Anglesey, this former working dairy turned holiday home welcomes four guests to come and relax amongst spectacular scenery and experience island life in North Wales. All on one level, the holiday home is stylish and welcoming with a modern interior, neutrally decorated with skylights, hard flooring, traditional furniture and artistic touches.
The first room you enter is the lounge/dining room, which is a lovely place to socialise, with two large sofas and a Smart TV. There is plenty of seating around the table and the mix of farmhouse and antique seating adds to the authenticity of the cottage, along with the butter paddles and milk churn in the kitchen. Prepare your meals on the rustic wooden worktops and after, clearing up is made easy with the deep Belfast sink. Take your pick between the pretty king-size bedroom with a comfortable iron bed and garden views, and a twin bedroom with zip-and-link beds which is cute and cosy. The shower room boasts a large walk-in shower and WC. This cottage is made even more special with its enclosed courtyard setting. Traditional stone walls and beautiful flowers surround a gorgeous little seating area complete with a fire pit and BBQ. There is a further garden belonging to the owners that you are welcome to admire, too.
Walks to Penmon Point and the lighthouse (8.5 miles) take you along spectacular coastlines. Explore by boat and plan a trip to Puffin Island and soak up all the wildlife along the way, or stay on dry land and explore the coastal villages of Menai Bridge (2 miles) and Beaumaris (3.5 miles), with their many shops and places to eat.
