For shopping and eating out, Crickhowell is just 2 miles away, and there’s also a friendly pub within the village.
The property is bursting with character, thanks to beautifully preserved features such as the barn’s exposed timber frame, deep-set windows, and gorgeous brick and stonework. Rustic furniture and pretty soft furnishings all add to the holiday home’s country-cottage charm. Enter the spacious retreat through the glass doors and straight into the social heart of the home: a large, open-plan lounge/diner. Here, you’ll find a banquet-style dining table for hosting dinner parties and special occasions, and a collection of chesterfield sofas arranged around the TV – the perfect place for cosy movie nights with family and friends. The separate, farmhouse-style kitchen has all the equipment and worktop space needed to cater for a large group. From the hallway, stairs lead to the first floor where you’ll discover four twin bedrooms, all with their own, en-suite shower rooms, there is also a snug room with TV and Pool Table. Back downstairs, the remaining part of the holiday home can be reached via a hallway from the kitchen. Here, you’ll find a second lounge/games room along with utility room with extra fridge. Stairs from this area lead to two further bedrooms, both set up as triple rooms with three single beds each. One of these bedrooms has an en-suite shower room and the other has access to its own shower room and WC. Please note, due to the period of the property, some of the first-floor rooms have low beams and sloping ceilings, so you may experience restricted head height in some areas.
Outside, relax in the sunshine and take in your peaceful surroundings in the enclosed courtyard garden to the front of the property. This space has outdoor furniture and a BBQ for dining alfresco in summer months. To the rear, you’ll have ample private parking as well as secure storage for bikes.
