A beautifully finished holiday home, this North Wales hideaway boasts a truly impressive outlook. Sleeping six guests, the four-bedroom house at Bwlchtocyn, 2 miles from Abersoch and 8.5 miles from Pwllheli, captures far-reaching views over the LlÅ·n Peninsula coast. Step out to follow a section of the coast path, keeping watch for porpoises and bottlenose dolphins in the waves. Those seeking a bucket and spade break will find long, sandy Machroes Beach just 0.5 miles away and the pretty, sandy cove of Traeth Porth Ceiriad, 2 miles from the cottage. Those seeking the thrill of the surf can venture 2.5 miles to spectacular Porth Neigwl. Head into vibrant Abersoch to browse its shops, dine out in a choice of eateries and watch the boats coming in and out of the bay. The National Trust’s Plas yn Rhiw (7.5 miles) is also worth a visit for its ornamental garden.

Park the car and pause to take in the scenery, then make your way through the front door. Hang your coats and leave your shoes in the hall before exploring the house, with its friendly yet immaculate presentation. The lounge is the perfect spot to unwind and socialise with your friends and family after your latest adventure. Throw a log or two onto the wood burner, then recline on the comfortable sofa to take in the views or watch the Smart TV. Open the doors to the garden in the summer months and savour the sea breeze.
On the occasions you choose to dine in, the galley kitchen is well equipped for the chef in your party to display their culinary skills. Gather in the dining room to enjoy your feast against the breathtaking backdrop of the coastal scenery. There is also a stylish family shower room on the ground floor. As the sun sets over North Wales, climb the stairs to the first floor of the cottage. Here you have four lovely bedrooms to choose from. These include a king-size, a double and two singles. Each bedroom has a unique feel and has been designed with your comfort in mind. The spacious family bathroom is also on this floor, with a shower over the bath.

Amble out into the sunshine at every opportunity to make the most of the property’s enclosed garden. Admire the established planting and small wildlife pond. Play games with the youngsters on the lawn and choose from a variety of seating areas for enjoying the fabulous views. Sit down to hearty breakfasts, afternoon tea and evening meals on the patio, which has a glass balustrade and comfortable outdoor dining furniture. The lower deck is a superb spot for basking in the evening sun, while the middle deck is perfect for morning coffee.
