Prepare for a divine holiday on the beautiful Welsh Llyn Peninsula. It’s the perfect place to take your children and parents for a multi-generational trip, where there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Savour a secluded getaway where you can return to nature and bond as a family without the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Inside the cottage is a kitchen/diner for family meals, and a cosy lounge with a wood burner where everyone can read, watch films or play games in the evening. You’ll find two ground-floor double bedrooms and a bathroom. There’s lots of wooden furniture and some hardwood floors which complement the stone exterior and make the cottage feel timeless. The first thing to do after arrival though is hop in the hot tub outside. It can accommodate six people, so you can all bubble away together before someone starts up the BBQ. The hot tub has a bar and is in a gazebo so you can keep splashing even if the weather is inclement. The garden is secure and private for dogs and children to play safely.
You’ll have a wide variety of activities for everyone to do. The cottage is 1.5 miles from the village of Llanbedrog, where you’ll find places to eat, a beach, and if you fancy a climb, a Tin Man landmark which surveys the local area. Water sports enthusiasts will have plenty of options, including Hell’s Mouth Beach, 4 miles from the property, which is renowned for its surfing. If you’d prefer to stay on dry land, take a 6-mile trip to Pwllheli for politics and literature, as it’s the birthplace of a Welsh poet and Plaid Cymru. Further east (14 miles) there’s Criccieth, with a castle, and places to eat and shop.
