Wake up to the smell of sea air in this three-storey holiday home on the Llyn Peninsula. Sleeping eight guests, the property is ideal for family get-togethers and holidays with friends. You’ll be just 300 metres from the sandy beach and have easy access to breath taking coastal walks. After an action-packed day, snuggle by the wood burner or unwind in the pretty garden. Included - from the 1st May to 30th September - is a unique beach hut equipped with a little gas burner, chairs, table and basic cooking equipment.
The former sea captain’s house has a contemporary style, with vibrant pops of colour throughout. The ground-floor lounge is a sociable space, with comfortable seating, a wood burner, and an electric keyboard to entertain your fellow guests. Come together in the colourful kitchen/diner for family meals and dinner parties around the stylish dining table. Completing the ground floor is a shower room and utility room. On the first floor you’ll find three bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room, and the family bathroom. The final bedroom – a double – is set in the second-floor eaves and has a wooden cot, if required. Due to the sloping ceilings, this room has restricted head height in some areas. Outside, the enclosed garden is laid to lawn and has a children’s swing and slide, as well as furniture for al fresco dining.
The quaint village of Nefyn is full of Welsh charm, with several small shops and eateries, as well as a dramatic, headland golf course. Its sweeping, sandy beach is a tranquil haven and spectacular coastal walks branch away from the village. A 2-mile walk along the beach brings you to Porthdinllaen, where you’ll find the famous Ty Coch a pub set right on the beach – the ideal place for a sundowner on a summer’s evening. Further afield, you can visit the stylish village of Abersoch (12 miles) and the bustling town of Caernarfon (20 miles).
