What a gem! Lovely location with fabulous views. Pub right opposite and it was the perfect location for us. I booked short notice as I wanted to get a change of scenery for my birthday. A couple of friends joined me during my stay and we had a lovely time. The cottage had 2 bedrooms. One double bed and a set of bunk beds. The sitting room haRead mored a sofa and 2 separate comfy chairs, and a dining table by the window. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you'd need. The garden had a table and chairs for coffee in the morning before a day exploring. We all said how lovely it was and how refreshed we felt after our visit. Fresh air and peace and quiet. Everyone we met were lovely and friendly. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much Hide

Clean but very basic cottage, in very pretty location. Grouse inn next door is excellent and would highly recommend. Lots of walks nearby and places to visit. Be prepared with everything as no welcome pack provided, no tea, coffee, washing up liquid or toilet rolls etc.

Dee Mount is in a stunning location but the cottage was a disappointment and somewhat depressing. In need of TLC as exemplified by the drab and dirty green living carpet, worn furniture and basic lighting. On the plus side the bedroom was clean, the bed comfortable and the furniture fairly new although it lacked any character. The Kitchen and showRead moreer/toilet were functional. Also surprised by the lack of even a basic welcome pack. The cottage didn't spoil our holiday but did nothing to enhance it! Hide

The cottage was perfect for our holiday in Wales. It was excellent value and had everything we needed. Its close location to Llangollen was helpful and the pub opposite was great for an evening drink.
