This stunning farm building conversion makes the perfect rural retreat for friends or family to relax and unwind. Sitting in the rolling hills of Mid Wales near Caersws and Newtown, it’s surrounded by beautiful countryside with lots of space, a private patio, a shared lawn and fun shared games room.

It’s in the middle of a small group of cottages and is light and welcoming throughout with lots of charming original features. The large kitchen/diner has patio doors outside, a lovely rustic dining table and chairs and a gorgeous wooden ceiling. Going through to the sitting room you’ll find patio doors to the garden and plenty of comfy seating for evenings in watching TV or a good movie. The beautiful double bedroom is also on the ground floor. It has a lovely high ceiling, attractive furniture and furnishings, and Freesat TV. Next door to it is the stylish shower room. Up the open tread wooden stairs in the sitting room is the king-size bedroom, with Freesat TV and a pretty en-suite shower room. Outside, you can take in the stunning rural views from the patio while the kids play on the shared lawn.

There are lots of activities on-site at the small static caravan park, including a games room with table tennis and a pool table, a children’s play area, books and games you can borrow, and coarse fishing. There are three pubs to visit in Caersws (2 miles away) and a handy fish and chip shop. Newtown (6 miles) has a good range of shops and supermarkets, as well as a museum and art gallery, a small cinema, a leisure centre, and a golf course. Head off on picturesque country walks, for a challenge why not tackle a hike up Pegwn Mawr (7.5 miles).

This was an ideal place to stay for us, my mother had the downstairs double bedroom and bathroom which was great for her. Our room was upstairs and was lovely. Everything you needed to cook meals,, well equipped kitchen. We brought our coffee pod machine as my hubby wont drink instant coffee. Definitely worth the journey to stay here.

Clearly communicated offer on the web page, communicated well in the run up to the stay. All very professional, and of course the place we stayed was excellent.

Y Beudy was everything we hoped for and more. The downstairs bedroom and shower room was ideal as my husband struggles with stairs. We were very comfortable and the situation and views were very relaxing. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, wed definitely like to return.
