It has a spacious living room with a dining area, and an electric stove for cosy nights in, a TV and DVD player, and patio doors lead outside. Next to it is the kitchen, with a handy hatch through to the dining table, and everything you’ll need for cooking delicious meals in. There are two pretty bedrooms, an attractive double and a cute single (sofa bed in living room is also available), as well as the fully accessible wet room. At the front of the cottage is a small patio and lawn you can relax on on warm days.
You’ll find two good pubs to visit in Berriew, as well as an excellent cafe, a butcher, a general store, and tennis courts you can book. Explore the museum of sculpture garden in the village and head to Glansevern Hall (2 miles away) to marvel at the incredible 25-acre gardens there. The area is renowned for excellent walking and being on the National Cycling Route 81 it’s a haven for cyclists too. Golfers can play at Lakeside (3 miles) or Welshpool (5 miles). Powis Castle and gardens overlooking Welshpool (5 miles) are a must-see, with a lovely cafe and shop to pop into too.
