Immerse yourself in rural Wales with a stay at this characterful renovated barn which retains many of its original features and is perfect for two. Inside, the lounge has a traditional feel with painted exposed beams, an armchair and a two-seater sofa for comfort. Here, you can enjoy a good book, or pop a film on the TV for a cosy evening. The kitchen/diner has a charming farmhouse feel with wooden cabinets, a bookshelf filled with cookbooks and a large dining table where you’ll enjoy both cooking and eating together. The bedroom is rustically styled in fitting with the property’s past, featuring a king-size bed and plenty of storage for you to fully unpack. Finally, the bathroom has a shower over a Jacuzzi bath, the perfect place to unwind after a day out exploring. Outside, you’ll get the opportunity to enjoy access to the 44 acres of the owner’s private grounds, as well as a patio garden for al fresco dining.

The Kerry Ridgeway and Severn footpaths are also accessible within a mile, as is the Roundton Hill Nature Reserve which is also a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest. This was our third stay at Cwmdulla Barn and we had a very relaxing stay yet again. The fact that the cottage is dog friendly is wonderful as our small dog soon settled in and made himself at home. The cottage is very well equipped, very clean and comfortable - especially the king sized bed which is one of the most comfortable that we have encounRead moretered on our travels both here and abroad. The owners are friendly and helpful, but remain unobtrusive. The one and a half acre garden is simply beautiful. Walkers will enjoy both walking around the adjacent footpaths and woodland as well as longer walk in the surrounding area. Hide

Beautifully peaceful location and property. The barn is historic and specious and the hosts not intrusive but readily on had if you need them. I recommend this place to all.
