Anglesey Events - July & August
For a small island there is usually quite a bit happening on Anglesey, particularly in the summer months of July and August. If these aren't enough, or you are looking for something a little different, you can always over the Menai Straits to Snowdonia.

A perfect family day out and especially for those loving anything equestrian with show jumping competitions and displays of many breeds from Shetlands to Shires and everything in between. The Royal Signals motorbike display team will be entertaining the crowds on both days and there will also be a vintage machinery parade and a grand parade of all horses and dairy cattle!
Anglesey Marine Week

Run by wildlife experience company Naturebites, Anglesey Marine Week, brings together lots of companies and attraction providers to run a wide variety of events which aim to encourage both locals and visitors alike to appreciate the wonder of the spectacular coastline of the island. Spend an evening at the aquarium at Anglesey Sea Zoo, join a coastal forage expedition at Church Bay or delight in the delicious tastes and smells of the sea at the Menai Seafood Festival.

This free admission festival features the very best of local bands in both the English and Welsh language. With genres ranging from classical to male voice choirs to country and folk there will be something to tickle the fancy of most live music fans. Not far from the historical harbour of Porth Amlwch the festival takes it name from the moonscape of Mynydd Parys which was once one of the largest copper mines in the world.
