A Winter Fair is held at Anglesey’s major arts centre, Oriel Ynys Mon near Llangefni, until 24 December. At Canolfan Ucheldre Centre in Holyhead, the Isle of Anglesey Choral Society performs Handel’s best loved oratorio, Messiah, on the 17th.

Come to Chirk Castle in Llangollen and north-east Wales on 11 December for a Christmas Carol in the castle’s magnificent chapel, or treat yourself to a very special Champagne gala evening on the 19th. Alyn Waters Country Park offers Festive Cheer with mince pies and mulled wine on 17 December.

In southern Snowdonia a Christmas Market takes place at Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre on 1 December, there’s Drop in Christmas Craft on 8 December and Coffee and Craft on the 11th.
