Lodges with Hot Tubs!

Written by Ginnie James on

Here at Wales Cottage Holidays our property recruiters are always on the lookout for great places to add to our growing portfolio, and they certainly haven’t disappointed with these latest two lodges.

Located on the edge of the charming Mid Wales hamlet of Llangunllo and 6 miles or so from the market town of Knighton is Cefnsuran Farm. The owners have dedicated an area of their farm to creating two lovely spots in which to site the wooden, Scandinavian style lodges. Before I go any further let me just mention that both lodges have their own hot tubs! If you are still undecided about whether one of these cottages would be for you, there is so much more…..

Suran-Y-Coed has two storeys with a living/dining area, kitchen and shower room downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs - one double with ensuite bathroom and one twin. To the front of the lodge is a decked verandah with patio furniture and a barbeque and the hot tub is situated around the side of the lodge. This cottage is great for families with a cot, highchair and stairgates available as well as games and books in the property and outdoor toys for children can also be provided on request.

Cefn-Nant is a single storey lodge just perfect for couples with the hot tub quite privately situated on an extension of the vernadah which wraps around two sides of the lodge. The first of the two bedrooms is a kingsize with ensuite bathroom and the second has a super kingsize zip & link bed which can be made into two singles along with an ensuite shower room. The lovely light open plan living area has patio doors which lead out onto the decking.

500 meters away from the lodges a barn conversion houses the shared games room with table football, table tennis and a full-sized snooker table for over 16s. The farm itself is surrounded by the beautiful Radnorshire countryside with views of moorland, woodland and farmland and there is trout fishing by arrangement with the owner.

If you just want to sit back on relax, what more could you want? Enjoy lazy days and romantic nights under unspoilt starry skies. If activities are what you are after there is plenty of those as well! Great walks in the area with part of Glyndwr’s Way running through the farm, a clay pigeon shooting centre and a rally driving school nearby and a choice of riding stables offering pony trekking not too far away.

Dates are booking up fast as you can imagine so if these lodges tickle your fancy do have a look at all the details and any questions you might have please don’t hesitate to give us a call on 01686 628200 or send us through an email. We can’t wait to hear from you!
