As you arrive at this Mid-Wales property, you’ll immediately notice its traditional cottage feel from the climbing vines up the front of the white-washed stone walls. Wooden furnishings, classic English decor and its location in a countryside town make this getaway ideal for a couple with a canine companion seeking a tranquil getaway with plenty of amenities nearby. Spend your days exploring the nearby castles, national trust sites and Shropshire Hills during your stay.

Unwind in the cosy and bright open-plan living space with a dining table beside the sash window and a wood burner effect electric fire, which creates an ambient glow in the room. Grab something to read from the bookshelf and put your feet up on the sofa in front of the Smart TV. Conversation can flow while relaxing and cooking in the adjacent farmhouse-style kitchen with wooden worktops and tones of blue. Climb the stairs and sink into the corner bath for a soak before bed. Rest your head in the romantic blue-toned bedroom with a super-king-size zip-and-link bed and a TV. Outside is a shrub-filled courtyard with a bistro set.

Ideal central location for town and all amenities of individual shops and good restaurants. Miranda was welcoming and helpful and her hospitality felt warm and generous. Heating was most welcome mornings and evenings as were some treats provided for us. Well equipped for 2, lovely bedding, off road parking very useful, even though a small space. SoRead more quiet and restful. Wifi better upstairs but adequate. dressing room off main bedroom was fun with plenty of storage space. Large bathroom. Hide

A very cosy, comfortable cottage in a great location in the town centre yet very quiet. A good base to explore the surrounding area. Good dog walks close by. Miranda, the owner, lives in the same courtyard and is always available if you need anything. Overall we were very happy with the property and will definitely be back.
