In a great rural situation, this reasonably comfortable property, is well insulated, with easy heating controls. We never saw the owners, but they were helpful via WhatsApp, when we twice needed to contact them. The online information is misleading, as the property is not 2miles from Machynlleth, but 4 miles, 3 on very narrow, winding single track Read moreroads and the last mile extremely rough and unsurfaced. Some of the furniture is looking old and a bit tatty. The kitchen could be better equipped. Hide

The location is stunning, very remote with one other property joined via a 3ft stone wall so no noise from the neighbours. Cottage is well appointed with sofas, decent TV, usable internet, and kitchen equipment. We spent a lovely few days here, walking locally (there's tracks right outside the door), and visiting local area. (Corris craft centre goRead moreod for a rainy day, recommend Borth and Aberdyfi.)
