Located on a working farm, this charming holiday home on the edge of St Davids offers peaceful accommodation for up to seven guests. You’ll be just 0.5 miles from the beach at Porthselau, a small sandy cove where you can go swimming. The owners are also happy for you to bring two dogs – who’ll love guiding you on walks along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, which you can join just 500 metres from your front door.
The accommodation is one of three rentable properties located around a central courtyard. As you enter, you’ll notice attractive rustic features that give the place a cosy, homely feel, such as ceiling beams, florals and plenty of wooden furniture. The property benefits from open plan living, with the kitchen, dining room and sitting room all leading onto one another. Two of the three bedrooms are on the ground floor – a double and a single – while the third can be found by scaling a wooden staircase leads from the living space. Outside, you’ll have a private lawned area plus access to a shared garden at the front, with a bench and a BBQ. The playing field adjacent to the cottages is ideal for children to play games such as football while the adults absorb the far-reaching views.
You’ll find pubs, cafes, a supermarket and plenty of restaurants in nearby St Davids (1 mile), as well as the famous cathedral which you can visit. There’s plenty for fresh-air lovers to enjoy in the surrounding area, whether that’s cycling National Cycle Route 4, which runs through St Davids, or having a scenic round of golf at the local course (2 miles).
