This fabulous farm stay is peacefully tucked into the Welsh countryside, simply perfect for family get togethers. The sociable open-plan living space and flexible bedroom accommodation welcome nine guests and up to three dogs, meaning no one is left behind. Situated on the outskirts of the pretty village of Lower Chapel, the area is perfect for outdoor pursuits; Visit Llangorse Lake (12 miles) - the largest natural lake in South Wales where you can hire rowing boats, kayaks, Canadian canoes, pedaloes, stand-up paddleboards or fishing boats. A wealth of walking is available nearby whether you chose to follow one of the farm walks or travel further afield into the Black Mountains or Brecon Beacons. For a family day out, explore one of the many natural attractions in the area that include The National Show Caves, Water Fall Country, or the The Big Pit Museum at Blaenavon (all within 30 miles).

One of six converted cottages enjoying a rural location, the barn is accessed via a private courtyard. An entrance hall offers space for coats and walking boots, from here walk in to the delightful, farmhouse kitchen and diner. Equipped with all you need for a self-catered getaway; this is a serene place to gather for holiday feasts as you plan the next day of outdoor adventures. After dinner, walk through the open arch to the scenic and airy lounge where sumptuous sofas and a Smart TV invite relaxing evenings together. When day turns to night, find the first two bedrooms on the ground floor - a super-king-size zip-and-link bed that can be made into twins on request, and a welcoming double room. A lower ground floor houses the final two bedrooms, a large family room with two king-size zip-and-link bed that can also be made into twins on request, and a single bedroom accessed via the family bedroom. Completing the interior and serving the bedrooms are a well-appointed family bathroom and separate shower room – perfect for soaking in after long days of country walks.

This barn has a private courtyard with a lawned area, a scenic terrace with table and chairs and a private hot tub. Beyond, the outdoor space is shared between five other cottages, guests are free to use the indoor heated pool, communal courtyard and outdoor seating, along with farm walks where you can spot tractors and animals along the way.
