Escape to this exquisite, two-storey property in a peaceful, privately owned hamlet of cottages, ideal for couples or solo travellers seeking a tranquil getaway in the countryside. Once a detached cart house belonging to a larger estate, its traditional stone and slate facade has been lovingly preserved. The allure of the Cardigan Bay coast is within easy reach, including a visit to picturesque Aberaeron (11 miles), known for its charming harbour, beach, and diverse dining scene.

Step inside this gorgeous cottage and take in the meticulously curated interior featuring many unique, handcrafted furnishings and original features such as exposed wooden beams and stone walls. There is an inviting open-plan living space with a charming wood burner, so you can cosy up on the leather sofa and enjoy a movie night on the Smart TV, whatever the weather. The kitchen has retro touches, all the appliances to prepare delicious meals and an antique dining table for romantic dinners. Upstairs, you''ll find a king-size bedroom with a delightful free-standing copper bath, perfect for unwinding after a day''s countryside ramble (please note that some areas feature low beams and reduced-height ceilings). There is also a beautiful en-suite shower room. Outside are six acres of shared grounds to explore, but you also have a private, enclosed patio, so relax, sip your morning brew alfresco, and unwind in your wood-burning hot tub.

Walkers and water sports enthusiasts should head to New Quay (12 miles), where three beautiful beaches await along with access to the Wales Coast Path, which, if you follow south, passes along scenic cliff tops. History buffs can head to the intriguing and beautiful ruins at Talley Abbey (14 miles). A really warm welcome awaited us from Mark and Jade. We found both to be most helpful and caring and appreciated the little notes left for us about local activities. The coach house was lovely, designed to perfection and had everything and more equipment than we expected. A very cosy stay, stress free and in a beautiful setting with woods and walksRead more in abundance out of the front door. A hot tub to die for on return and the most amazing bath to soak in ...if you so choose to. A great time and wonderful location fir the beautiful beaches of Aberaeron and New Quay...Thank you.
