Steps from the dining area lead down to a cosy lounge, where an array of soft seating is arranged around a fabulous, rounded chimney breast housing a roaring wood burner. Relax here to watch a show on the smart TV or read a book from the selection provided. Completing this floor is a refreshing shower room. Open-tread stairs lead to the double bedroom on the mezzanine level, featuring a vaulted ceiling, wooden floorboards, and views of the garden through a charming arched window. Outside, accessed via four steps from the kitchen/diner, is a private courtyard surrounded by pretty plants and shrubs. After a potter around, stride out along one of the woodland walks from the town, or follow the banks of the Cleddau River. You’ll also be just 14 miles from the historic town of Cardigan, with its imposing Norman castle and popular indoor markets. Spend the day at the beach at Poppit Sands, 16 miles north, or journey south to the popular resorts of Saundersfoot (21 miles) or Tenby (23.5 miles).
