After a long walk, rustle up a hearty feast in the farmhouse-style kitchen, before settling down at the dining table together to enjoy the stunning views of the garden. Steps from the dining area lead down to a cosy lounge, where an array of soft seating is arranged around a fabulous, rounded chimney breast housing a roaring wood burner. Relax here to watch TV or read a book from the selection provided. Completing this floor is a refreshing shower room. Open-tread stairs lead to the double bedroom on the mezzanine level, featuring a vaulted ceiling, wooden floorboards, and views of the garden through a charming arched window. Outside, accessed via four steps from the kitchen/diner, is a private courtyard surrounded by pretty plants and shrubs. Relax here, looking out over the shared lawn, as you sip a glass of wine or fire up the BBQ for an al fresco supper. Private parking for two cars is available in a shared, onsite courtyard.
The bustling town of Narberth is 11.5 miles away and has a thriving high street full of independent shops and eateries to explore. After a potter around, stride out along one of the woodland walks from the town, or follow the banks of the Cleddau River. You’ll also be just 14 miles from the historic town of Cardigan, with its imposing Norman castle and popular indoor markets. Spend the day at the beach at Poppit Sands, 16 miles north, or journey south to the popular resorts of Saundersfoot (21 miles) or Tenby (23.5 miles).
