This charming farmhouse with original features and creature comforts is perfect for a couple looking to enjoy Snowdonia National Park. Treat yourself to seasonal farm produce and grass-fed beef when available. Start your journey to the farm by making your way up the 1-mile gravel track through the beautiful RSPB area and a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) oak woodland. During winter months the property is only accessed via a 4x4 due to steep and rugged road to the property. The local pub is a mile away, or alternatively, you can head to the market town of Dolgellau (3 miles) with its independent shops, pubs, cafes, golf course and events throughout the year. Other nearby hot spots include the sandy beach at Fairbourne (5 miles) or the seaside resort at Barmouth (7 miles) with its harbour, eateries, shops, events and sandy beach. Maybe take the water taxi from Fairbourne to Barmouth or join the Mawddach Trail to walk or cycle along the estuary. Enjoy walking, climbing, mountain biking, cycling and water sports in the area or just relax at the farm with its gorgeous gardens, breathtaking views of majestic mountains and opportunities for stargazing.

Walk up the steps and into this gorgeous farmhouse that is flooded with natural light, and marvel at the exposed beams and all the thoughtful extras throughout. To your right is the spacious kitchen/dining room with all the equipment you need to rustle up a romantic meal for two. When dinner is ready, the dining table by the window is the perfect setting. After a full day exploring, relax in the lounge on the sumptuous corner sofa, watch a film on the Smart TV and light the wood burner for cosy nights in. When ready for bed, head upstairs, past the library landing and into the large bedroom with its double-size bed. After a good night’s sleep, pop downstairs to the stylish shower room with underfloor heating for a leisurely start to the day.

Outside explore the acres of farmland, woodlands, pretty gardens, a river and superb views of the valley and mountain ranges. Take morning coffee at the front of the house admiring the scenery, Dexter cows, chickens, birds and other wildlife. In the evening, walk up to hilltop and enjoy the dark skies. There is parking for one car outside the house, and plenty of space for bikes and paddleboards.
