We stayed here for a weekend celebration for my husbands 70th birthday with family and friends, and it could not have been more perfect. The accommodation was absolutely stunning, set in beautiful surroundings, and every bedroom was comfortable and thoughtfully presented. The added touches throughout really made the stay feel special, and the kiRead moretchen was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and honestly didnt want to leave. The owners were polite, caring and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. Its a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion and we will most definitely be back. Highly recommended. Hide

This was a beautiful house, we enjoyed all it's comforts and grounds, well equipped and polite staff, it was a pity it was a bit6 far out for visiting places of interest and our two teenagers missed out on kayaking and paddle boarding because of the drought.

Beautiful and luxurious home, loved the bedrooms. If taking a dog I would be cautious that there is no safe enclosed part of the garden so dogs can easily run away and onto nearby road, or into pond. I would suggest to take a long lead. Also no nearby public footpaths so will need to drive for dog walks.

A family holiday with us all together in a beautiful setting was what we wanted, The Country House was far more than we expected. Great location for so many of what Wales has to offer, from the beach to the cole mines, bike rides, forest walks to some of the most beautiful scenic lakes. I cannot praise The Country House enough, until next time.
