Escape with your special someone to this delightful holiday home sitting on a working farm in the small village of Orleton. Sleeping two people in one bedroom, it’s the perfect accommodation option for romantic couples seeking a peaceful retreat to call home while they explore both Shropshire and Herefordshire together. During the day, wander the medieval streets of Ludlow and sample the local specialties, such as Shropshire blue cheese and Ludlow sausage. In the evening come home to enjoy a romantic dinner for two on the cottage’s private decked terrace.

Enter this idyllic barn conversion via a ramp, step inside and you’ll be greeted by an elegant open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. Take a moment to make yourself at home in the light and bright lounge area before heading to the farmhouse-style kitchen to rustle up some dinner for your loved one. Enjoy an intimate dinner at the sleek dining table, or head out onto the private decked terrace to dine alfresco while soaking up the beautiful farm views. After dinner, crack open a bottle of something cool and crisp in the cottage’s sunroom, or cuddle up in the lounge area while you watch your favourite TV shows. At the end of the day, head to the crisp white-washed bedroom, which boasts a charming super-king size bed that can be made up as a twin room on request. Completing the layout is an en-suite wet room with a shower.

This cottage is the most comfortable and well appointed I have ever stayed in. I could have stayed much longer for that and the peace and quiet.

The cottage was very comfortable, catered for all our needs and was a lovely place to relax which was what we needed to do. Very thoughtful to provide copious amount of crockery and cutlery. We would love to return at some point.

A very clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage. It's on a single track road but there very little traffic and lots of passing places. Well placed for visits to Ludlow and Leominster. Lovely walking country with walks start right on your door step.

Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Caroline and her father Edwin made us feel so welcome. The farm accommodation was delightfully peaceful and relaxing with a lovely view from the conservatory and terrace. The bed was comfy and spacious with an ensuite walk in shower. The kitchen was well appointed and attractive. Big plus was the dishwasher. NeaRead morerby walks take you to remote areas with incredible views and much wildlife. A visit to Ludlow up the road is a must. Forget Cornwall, just book it. Hide
