Guests are welcome to explore the surrounding farmland by prior arrangement with the owner.

Brecon is a picturesque market town with a great range of independent shops and eateries, along with museums and art galleries to explore. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy a trip to Llangorse Lake (9 miles), where you can hire canoes and paddleboards to get out on the water. Loved this cottage. Amazing value for money with a lovely welcome hamper. Dog friendly with dog bowls, treats and a drying towel, on a working farm with a walk over the hill into Brecon that was stunning. Hosts were great. Hide

We absolutely loved Cowslip Cottage. Liz was very welcoming and showed us around the property on arrival. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay and would love to go back one day. The small patio at the back was ideal for both watching the birdlife and for the dark skies. Cottage is set in a beautiful part of the Brecons, handy for shops but away from the hustle and bustle. So peaceful and tranquil. Our young pups loved it! Would highly recommend

The cottage was fairly cheap and is located on a farm so was not expecting to see sheep through the dining room window in the morning (not complaining though!). The cottage is a 5 min drive to the town which is convenient. I liked how the owner gave us a basket of snacks and little nutella and jam packs which was a nice touch. There's a decent amouRead morent of kitchen equipment to use. Cleanliness was average so I hope there will be improvement in this aspect. Hide

Spacious accommodation conveniently situated just outside Brecon. Warm welcome given when we arrived. Only drawback is that it is located in farm yard and has no views of the lovely Welsh countryside from the property
