If you suffer from any form of mobility problems then this lodge is not for you. The worst part was the 3 steps leading to the bedroom and bathroom as there was no handrail and I felt very unsafe. The wooden steps leading into the lodge are in need of repair and the wooden handrail would benefit from some sandpaper as I always seemed to get a couplRead moree of splinters when I hauled myself up to the door. This is a great property in a fab spot , easy access to many nearly towns and the coast . Inside it is new and clean and has good WiFi/ Tv , all the white goods you will need, and bed are good ,clean fresh bedding and a fantastic hot rainfall shower. If I have to be honest , the chalet lacks kerb appeal, it isnt secure at the front for dogs , the sRead moreteps are quiet step to the chalet entrance and for those with limited mobility they would be hard to negotiate , & they are very badly in need or repair. Back garden is secure but again lacks a little attention to detail (cut the grass etc) but those are minor details . Its on quiet a busy road but once inside there is no noise . The value for money is good . Hide

The Lodge had lovely spacious rooms. There was a lovely view from the bedroom window. The kitchen was very well equipped and the enclosed garden was an asset.

Potentially this accommodation could be improved. Beds and bedding good but missing items and very poor kitchen pans. Efficient WiFi, dishwasher and water heater.

Property would benefit from WiFi access and vacuum cleaner. Had to unplug hairs from the shower cubicle for it to drain. Shower thermostat tap doesn't work so had to set hot water temp from the boiler itself. Access steps loose and require refitting. A shame because the property is really nice and in a nice location.

Location of property is great for travelling around. The lodge is in need of a little freshening up though. Dog friendly lodge with a nice back garden. BBQ was great for cooking and we enjoyed the sea view from the bedroom and sunsets were outstanding. Owner rectified a few minor issues at the beginning of our stay (missing towels, grass needing toRead more be cut and no logs) We also got a few little treats too! Hide
