The house is welcoming and comfortable from the moment you step inside the door. Its large reception hallway is furnished with upholstered seating and makes a lovely spot in which to sit with a book. Go through the double doors into the main lounge and you’ll find more relaxed seating and an open fire. The spacious kitchen is well equipped and has a breakfast table for six while, for more formal dining, there’s a separate dining room which has a window overlooking the garden. The family wing on the ground floor offers three bedrooms: a king-size, a double (with additional futon) and a small bunk-bed room (with TV), of which the first two have en-suites. The three remaining en-suite bedrooms are all on the first floor: two doubles (one with a futon and a 5’ bed if required) and a twin. Outside, not only can you enjoy the hot tub for a relaxing soak after your day’s adventures, but there’s also a choice of seating and dining areas from which you can admire the views.
The house is located in an elevated position 2 miles from Aberaeron, where you’ll find shops, places to eat, a picturesque harbour and pebble beaches. Head to New Quay, 5.5 miles, for more shops, restaurants and beaches, as well as water sports and boat trips to see the dolphins in the bay. Fantasy Farm Park is 9.5 miles, while the National Trust’s Georgian villa of Llanerchaeron is only 3.5 miles.
