This spacious safari tent is perfect for a family getaway in nature, surrounded by walking trails, waterfalls and the sandy beaches of Pembrokeshire. Up to six guests and two canine companions can stay in this homely yet quirky accommodation with a wood-burning stove, a fully plumbed bathroom and plenty of outside space.
Inside the heavy-duty canvas walls with wooden flooring and beams, you’ll find an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. To one side, next to a window, is a wooden dining table with six chairs. Adjacent is a comfortable lounge area with a colourful, patchwork-style sofa in front of a cosy rug. At the back of the room, past the wood-burning stove, is a fitted kitchen with wooden countertops and a cool box. All three bedrooms are in their own cabin-style container – the first double bed is raised above the floor and is accessible with small portable steps. Beyond here are two more bedrooms – made up as a king-size and a twin room. Completing the interior is a family shower room. Outside is a private decked area with rattan furniture and a BBQ. Also on site is a cafe, bar, children’s playground and an honesty shop. For an additional cost, you can use the wood-fired hot tub. There is private parking for one car.
While staying on the outskirts of Cwm-cou (0.5 miles), you’ll be just 2 miles from Newcastle Emlyn, where you can dine out and visit the castle ruins. Spend a day at Ceibwr Beach (16.5 miles) and follow the coastal path to Pwll y Wrach (17 miles). Also nearby is the charming seaside village of Aberporth (7.5 miles).
