Description

This attractive cottage faces south-west and enjoys stunning views from the grounds over the Welsh hills as far as Snowdonia (60 miles), Cader Idris, Plynlimon and the Berwyns. Situated in the landscaped grounds of the owner's home, this delightfully renovated detached barn is 2 miles north of Churchstoke and 6 miles east of the old county town of Montgomery.

Cwmdulla Barn has a wealth of exposed timbers and comprises one bedroom with king size brass bed, bathroom with shower over jacuzzi bath, an attractive fitted kitchen diner, and sitting room with a door to the patio. Facilities include dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, flatscreen TV, with Freeview recorder, DVD, CD/radio with iPod connector, free Wi-Fi, oil central heating and a second WC/basin.

Visitors have their own patio with garden furniture and access to 44 acres of private grounds with wonderful walking from the door. Also Offa's Dyke, Kerry Ridgeway and Severn Way footpaths nearby. An ideal location for a couple to get away to the country and enjoy a relaxing stay. Local pub 0.75 mile away and the Roundton Hill Nature Reserve and Iron-Age Hill Fort site, 1 mile. Newtown/Welshpool are each about 20 minutes' drive, Shrewsbury/Ludlow 30 mins.  Welshpool for leisure centre, Powis Castle (NT) and Welshpool-Llanfair Caereinion Light Railway is 15 minutes away.
