Cosy and quaint to the core, this characterful former village tailors shop is nestled in a peaceful and picturesque countryside corner of Ceredigion within easy reach of the sandy stretches of Cardigan Bay and Llangrannog, perfect for anyone looking to soak up everything West Wales has to offer.

After a long day exploring your surroundings, grab the fabulous local produce you’ve collected and head into the contemporary kitchen/diner of this stone-built cottage to whip up a delicious feast to refuel the whole family seated around the dining table. As the cooler evening air settles, head into the homely lounge and fire up the electric fire to keep things cosy long into the evening as you relax on the plush sofa. When you can’t resist the call of bedtime any longer, you have two beautifully presented bedrooms on the first floor to retire to, which both feature a calming colour palette of neutral tones and fantastic views of the surrounding scenery. Outside, soak up peaceful views of the rolling hillsides by dining alfresco on the patio or lounging on the enclosed lawn.

The quiet rural village of Rhydlewis is a fantastic base to explore the magnificent Ceredigion coastline, countryside and countless walking trails. For a traditional bucket and spade day at the seaside, the irresistible beaches and coves along Cardigan Bay, such as Poppit Sands and Aberaeron can be reached within 16 miles, or head to the seaside village of Llangrannog 5.5 miles away to surf the tide or explore its excellent selection of independent shops. The cottage was a remote one although you hear some cars passing by. But it is generally quiet and a great location. Mynt Beach and one other beach are a short distance drive, so very handy.

Lovely little Welsh break in this cosy & clean cottage full of family history. Spacious enclosed garden, generous car parking spot and a quiet and beautiful area to relax in. We'll be back as a young family of 3.

Gwynnant Cottage is a charming property in a lovely rural location. Well-placed for access to nearby county towns and beaches, it is simply furnished but clean. Given recent hikes in holiday rental prices, it offers great value for money.
