There’s a fabulous sense of light and space at this family- and pet-friendly bungalow. With three bedrooms and an enclosed garden, it’s only 500 metres from Saundersfoot’s pretty Glen Beach. Occupying a pretty corner plot in a quiet residential area, this welcoming holiday property offers views towards the sea and a lovely outdoor space where all the family can unwind in the sunshine.
Step through the entrance and you’ll find a contemporary interior that’s been thoughtfully furnished to accommodate a group of five in home-from-home comfort, starting with a light-filled living room with a large window that faces seaward. The smart, modern kitchen has a similar sunny aspect; cook up a feast here then move into the stylish dining room to the rear of the property, where there’s a large oak table and French doors into the garden. The master bedroom also has doors onto the patio, alongside a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom. There are garden views from a tranquil twin-bedded room, while the final bedroom features a single bed and sea views. Completing the accommodation is a large family bathroom. Hard landscaping and feature plants bring kerb appeal to the front of the property, while at the rear there’s a patio with outdoor seating, well-tended borders and a lawn where children and pets can play safely.
Just 500 metres downhill, east-facing Glen Beach connects at low tide with the main sands of Saundersfoot, providing an off-road walk to the village centre via the harbour. Leisure yachts bob on their moorings within the harbour, but if you want to take to the water yourself, you could book a boat trip from here to try your hand at sea fishing or to see some of the marine mammals that thrive along this coastline. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes through the village – head 3.5 miles west and you’ll reach Tenby, a larger resort with independent boutiques, shops and eateries to suit every taste.
