This is a traditional style property, in an excellent location if you are looking for a quieter spot outside St Davids . The cottage is spacious and comfortable, though lacking a good shower, and a dishwasher. The upstairs room is great for younger guests, as it doesn't have a lot of head room. We took 2 dogs, and they slept in the kitchen area which they do at home and this worked well. There is a nice seating area on the lawn behind the cottage. The kitchen facilities are good, and fully working, and there's a useful utility area. The bathroom was large and adequate. Overall it was a nice place for a break and great location for coastal walks.
Karen and Derek were very friendly, helpful hosts. We loved the property and its location was so perfect for coast path walks and local beaches.
The cottage is 1 mile from the Centre of St Davids, Britain’s smallest city. The Cathedral is well worth a visit and there are plenty of places to eat and drink and several small local shops. Boat trips including dolphin, seal, birdwatching, fishing and jet boat rides can be booked from here.
This gorgeous part of the Coast has plenty of beaches, harbours, coves and many hidden surprises including the Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy. Coasteering is popular as are all the traditional activities such as surfing, swimming, fishing or of course just relaxing.
Inland there are several all weather attractions for all the family, including Oakwood theme park, Folly Farm, Hanger 5 Trampoline Park, The Dinosaur Park and Anna’s Welsh Zoo.
