Penally has a quiet shingle and sand beach which joins up with one of the main Tenby beaches. The village is also known for historic sites including Penally Abbey and the Carswell Medieval House, as well as for its wartime practice trenches and military training camp. Heading a couple of miles into Tenby, there’s a choice of four beaches, a great selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants, and attractions including Tenby Castle, St Catherine’s Fort and the Tudor Merchant’s House.
