Absorb the spectacular beauty of North Wales when you stay at this gorgeous retreat near Llanddeiniolen. Set within the grounds of an enchanting, 50-acre estate, the two-bedroom former barn sleeps four guests and is in an exceptional position for enjoying both the countryside and the coast. Approximately 8 miles from the fringes of the Snowdonia National Park and 6 miles from Caernarfon, it is also well located for days out to the Isle of Anglesey.

Step up and into this gorgeous, stone abode to find single-storey accommodation with delightful features, such as revealed stonework, wooden beams and vaulted ceilings. At the heart of the holiday home is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can throw open the doors on warm days or relax with your books or in front of a good film on TV during the colder months. Prepare tasty meals for your family and friends in the kitchen area, then dine together either inside or out in the sun. At the end of each wonderful day spent exploring North Wales, wander through to either the double bedroom or the twin to indulge in a great night’s sleep. The barn has a family bathroom. Soak up the sunshine outside on the patio as often as possible, lighting the fire pit in the evening and gazing up at the stars on clear nights. There is private parking at the barn.

Plan days out to historic sites, such as the National Trust’s Penrhyn Castle and Garden, 7.5 miles away, and striking Caernarfon Castle. Beaumaris Castle, 9 miles away on Anglesey, is also worth visiting. This seaside town also has a beautiful sandy beach, as well as shops to potter in and cafes and pubs to dine out in. Venture 12 miles to see impressive Aber Falls, one of Snowdonia’s most dramatic waterfalls.

The cottage was lovely, cosy and warm, it had all the equipment you needed for a good stay, We really liked the layout - there was plenty of space for all of us. The bathroom was lovely with plenty of hot water. Wi-Fi worked really well which kept the young adults amused as they could access their phones. It was peaceful and the location was great Read morewith lovely views across the fields. It was in easy reach of all the major attractions - however we just enjoyed the peace and quiet as much as anything else. Hide

Sian and Steve were excellent hosts and we were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. They were also very lovely when we left too. The property was really clean and the beds very comfortable and it's an excellent location from which to visit lots of great places in North Wales. We didn't have great weather but there's plenty to do even on wet Read moredays. Hide

calm atmosphere, cute animals, easy access to sightseeing spots in North Wales. If the cottage had a larger refrigerator and a laundry machine inside the building, it would be much better.
