A delightful semi-detached stone cottage dating back to the 17th century and located just outside the village of Dyffryn Ardudwy is perfect for a couple or family looking for a peaceful holiday. An ideal base for exploring both countryside and the coast, the property is less than a mile from the huge sandy beach of Morfa Dyffryn and is within the Snowdonia National Park. The railway station is less than 500 metres walk, giving access to the scenic coastal line.

This beautiful two-storey cottage is light and airy with elegant, contemporary, and welcoming decor. An open-plan ground floor with a traditional cottage-style staircase leads to the first floor. The living room has comfortable seating to relax in at the end of a busy day or spend quality time playing board games or watching the TV. The large, beamed fireplace with a flame effect electric stove ensures this room is cosy all year round. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, and the dining area has plenty of natural light from the doors leading to the patio garden. Upstairs is a contemporary bathroom and three bedrooms - one double, one single and one with full-sized bunk beds - all have lovely rural views across the fields. Outside, to the rear, is a large, enclosed patio garden with garden furniture and BBQ – ideal for sunny days.

There are plenty of attractions in this wonderful part of Wales. Discover the pretty village of Harlech (6 miles) and explore the castle and sandy beach. Barmouth (6 miles) also has a sandy beach and delightful ice cream parlours! Boat and fishing trips can be taken from the harbour to watch seals and dolphins or follow the Mawddach Trail up the estuary, which is superb for cycling or walking.
