We stayed at the Gatehouse in Llanwrst. An idlyic setting within the castle grounds. Unlimited access to the castle gardens and the peacocks were simply amazing. Perfect base to explore the beauty of North Wales. The owners and the housekeeper were most welcoming.

Mr M,

What a find. It was a lovely cosy property, just enough room for 2 people. The Castle has such an interesting history. The grounds are amazing, you are free to roam the gardens all through your stay. We had a fabulous time here. Close to a lot of amenities in the North Wales area. The owners of the property were lovely. There are a number of peacocks/peahens that reside here, they can be quite vocal, we loved them and grew quite fond of them, so as long as you don’t mind the calling, you will have a wonderful time. We will definitely return.

Mr J,
