This welcoming cottage in the stunning Glaslyn Valley offers is a wonderful springboard for discovering the Snowdonia National Park (0.5 miles). It’s in a row of houses just 0.5 miles from the small village of Tremadog, where you’ll find a real ale pub and some shops. The property is next to the owners’ working farm and offers comfortable accommodation for up to five guests, over two bedrooms. It’s perfect for a family or two couples who wish to bring along one child, too.

Comfortable, light and airy, the cottage is a real home away from home. In the roomy sitting room, which has attractive wooden ceiling beams, guests can sink into the three-piece suite and catch up on some TV. The fitted kitchen has everything you need for meal prep, and there’s a pine table for enjoying them at, along with a lovely pew bench. From here, stairs lead up to the first-floor bedrooms as well as the family bathroom. A quaint decorative scheme with printed fabrics and muted tones adds to the appeal. Outside the front of the property, there’s a patio area with a table and chairs where you can dine alfresco in mild weather.

You’ll be 4 miles from Porthmadog where you can pick up the Welsh Highland Railway for a scenic ride. In Beddgelert, 7 miles away, enjoy a pretty riverside walk and visit the famous Gelert’s grave – a must for history fans. Criccieth (5 miles) has a castle you can visit, while the Italianate-style village of Portmeirion (5 miles) also makes a fantastic day out. We’d also recommend exploring the pretty Llyn Peninsula during your trip.

Really nice cottage. Has everything needed and despite being on a working farm in the countryside it is close to most things.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lle Bach. The location was so tranquil and relaxing, perfectly situated to visit local attractions and not too far from supermarkets when needed. The owners were friendly and helpful, our cottage was a lovely base and we would definitely recommend it.

This property was rated as very good, I would rate it as adequate. It provided everything that we required but lacked that level of luxury which we have experienced at similar farm stays..

Cottage and host very nice. However Wifi supplied from main house and apart from the kitchen was unobtainable in other rooms. Needs its own hub. Very few cooking dishes, utensils and saucepans. Electric hob very difficult to use.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lle Bach cottage. Its situated in such a quiet and peaceful location, so peaceful, in fact, that our 10 month old baby slept through the night for the first time in months! Immersed in nature, it was a real treat to hear the gentle hum of the animals on the farm while brushing your teeth. The drive down to the cottage Read moreis beautiful, surrounded by hills and greenery with little stone bridges that look like theyre from the pages of a fairytale, you really do feel like youve found a little secret paradise. The cottage is very well equipped, all the practical elements of holidaying with young children were covered and theres loads to do in the area. Location wise it couldnt have been better for exploring Harlech castle, grabbing an ice-cream on Black Rock Sands, and zip wiring in Blaenau Ffestiniog. The owners were very friendly and accommodating, and they gave us some handy tips on the area to help us make the most of our stay. If youre looking for a well situated and peaceful retreat, we would highly recommend booking here. Hide

A very nice cottage with helpful owners next door. It is very conveniently positioned for both Snowdonia and the coast. There is more than enough to do to fill a week!
