This pretty cottage makes an ideal base for a couple to have a fab holiday in Mumbles being perfectly placed for enjoying the shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants, promenade, and coastal path. It has a sweet, decked sun terrace with views of Swansea Bay where you can sit and watch the sun go down at the end a fun day.

Tucked away on a small alleyway, this cosy cottage is brimming with charm and character thanks to a combination of traditional features and modern design. Step into the living/dining room, with a large, exposed brick fireplace and wall, and wooden beams. Chill out and watch TV or a film, prepare delicious meals in the cute kitchen and enjoy them at the romantic dining table for two. There’s a separate WC on the ground floor and heading up the steep staircase, you’ll find a bright, welcoming double room (with plenty of storage) and a large, en-suite bathroom. Take your drinks outside to the sun deck off the kitchen and enjoy the sea air and partial sea views.

Pop out of the cottage down the steps to the long promenade that traces the shoreline just across the road. Head left to explore the Mumbles’ and a fantastic range of pubs, cafes, shops, and restaurants, or walk right to get to the pier and carry on along the coast path. There are many picturesque bays and beaches to visit on the Gower peninsula, such as Limeslade (1 mile away), Rotherslade (1.5 miles) and Langland (2 miles) nearby. Or jump in the car and head to the stunning beaches along the coast, including Oxwich Bay (9.5 miles), which is a fantastic spot for water sports, and Rhossili (16 miles), perfect for lazy days spent sunbathing and swimming.

We thought that this property was a little gem set in the centre of the old fishing village. It was so convenient for access to the sea front and Knab Rock, famous for Verdi's cafe. It was quiet and secluded and had a lovely patio area at the rear.

A wonderful cosy, clean cottage which has superb attention to detail throughout. So inviting on entering, with hospitality gifts too. Everything you need is there, it's fully equipped, it's been very well thought out for guests to have a home from home experience while relaxing. Outstanding hosts made our stay such a pleasure too & we couldn't thanRead morek them enough. Communication was excellent and so friendly. The cottage is in a perfect location, coastal walking, eating or shopping, there's some great nearby places to eat or grab a coffee/ ice-cream. Compact but well designed and equipped. Lots of local amenities ad short drive to the amazing beaches of the Gower. Excellent communication from the host who including great suggestions things to do and places to eat.

Great little cottage in good position in heart of Mumbles. Promenade just 20m away. Loads of restaurants, beach and amenities immediately on hand. Terrace is a real sun trap with view of sea over roof tops. Parking close just at bottom of steep steps. Everything in cottage modern, clean and tasteful decor. We had the most amazing stay at Bwthyn Bach in The Mumbles communication with the owners was wonderful - they shared lots of tips about the surrounding area the cottage was delightful, & we found the parking permit associated with our cottage absolute gold !! Thank you .

The cottage was lovely and comfortable and in a great location for walks and visits to other parts of the area. The host was in constant contact with us giving us some great ideas for things to do and places to see, all in all we had a great week.

A fantastic cottage in a peaceful location just across the road from the seafront. The cottage was clean and well curated. Mel and Alison have thought of everything and were extremely helpful with recommendations of were to visit. We had a great week, thank you so much!
