This comfy, contemporary apartment is perfectly placed, located up from the promenade in Norton, from where you can easily reach everything in Mumbles, visit local bays and access the stunning beaches on the Gower peninsula. Whether you’re holidaying with friends or family it makes an ideal base for a seaside holiday.

The first-floor apartment is up a flight of stairs above Norton Village Stores, handy for stocking up on food, and arranged over two floors. On the first floor is the gorgeous open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with plush sofas and a TV, a dining table in the lovely light bay window and a smart, contemporary kitchen area for cooking delicious meals. One of the two bedrooms is on this floor, a stylish super-king (can be set up as a twin) with a pretty, decorative fireplace, as well as the stunning family bathroom with a luxurious rolltop bath. Head up the stairs in the lounge to the second floor and there’s a spacious king-size bedroom with wooden beams and exposed brickwork and views across the rooftops to the sea. There’s no private outside pace attached to the flat, but the expanse of Swansea Bay and the promenade are nearby.

Mumbles has a plethora of places to go out and eat out, from the seafood hut on the promenade to fish and chips shops, Italian restaurants, and high-end eateries, it has something for all tastes and budgets. You’ll also find some lovely shops, pubs cafes and tea rooms. Wander along the promenade to Mumbles Pier (1.5 miles) for breakfast with a view or keep going to Langland Bay (a further 2 miles on the coast path) a large, sandy beach with beach huts, a cafe, and seafood restaurant. Visit Caswell Bay, 3 miles from the pier, to have a go at surfing or paddleboarding.

A good location above a shop also owned by the same people. Comfortable, warm & clean - we enjoyed our stay very much. The furniture and fridge are different to the photos but same spec. Great little pub 50yds away. Lots of walks nearby and a castle. Great fish & chips from Johnnie's approx a 10 min brisk walk. About the same to the Mumtaz Indian oRead moren the main bay road. Lots of shops nearby, again approx 10 mins, some of which are independent - nice to see. Rhosilli bay is a must - on the other side of the Gower, approx 15 miles. Plenty of buses to Swansea on the bay road. Local bus stops outside the shop. Would recommend. Enjoy ! Hide
