An ideal base for family get-togethers or a seaside break with a group of friends, this comfortable property is set right by one of Gower’s most renowned beaches and boasts spectacular sea views.

This welcoming holiday home has been designed to take advantage of its marvellous views, with the living spaces on the first floor. Here you’ll find a spacious kitchen, leading to a dining area for eight, from which patio doors open onto a small balcony. Here two or three of you can gather to breathe in the fresh air and enjoy looking out to sea. The lounge is open plan to the dining area, and offers soft seating for seven and a TV/DVD. There’s also a twin bedroom and a WC on this floor. When you head downstairs, you’ll find the remaining three bedrooms: a king-size with built-in wardrobes and an en-suite shower room, and two further twins, plus the family bathroom. The lawned garden offers a lovely area in which children can run around and for the whole group to enjoy an alfresco meal.

Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Port Eynon is Gower’s most popular beach, offering a long stretch of golden sand backed by dunes. Its waves are safe for swimming and water sports, though keen surfers may want to take their boards to Llangennith, Gower’s big surf beach, 7 miles away. The house is surrounded by gorgeous countryside, and you’ll find plenty of walking trails or, for delicious food and boutique shopping, head either to cosmopolitan Mumbles, 14.5 miles, or the city of Swansea, 16 miles.
