We were so comfortable in this cottage. It was fully equipt with everything we needed for our week stay. The bed is so comfy with high quality bed linen. The shower in the wet room was powerful and hot and great quality towels were supplied. The lounge has lovely, comfy fireside chairs and when the lamps are on in the evening,it is so cosy. There iRead mores no dvd player as stated in the information guide but a satellite box with ample channels to watch. If you intend taking frozen food be mindful that the freezer is small. The cottage is in its own gated grounds and if you have a dog with you,its perfectly secure. The owner is respectful of your privacy,a lovely man to chat to and on hand if needed. We fell in love with this cottage and cant wait to revisit in July. Deserving of 5 stars***** as quality throughout. High end bed linen and pillows on a supremely comfortable bed. Sense of total solitude with large, private garden, yet just an easy stroll to Newton village green, pubs, sand dunes and onto the beach. We could live permanently in Dan-y-Graig Cottage enjoying watching playful squirrels in the hugRead moree oak trees from the full length windows in the kitchen/diner! Owners nearby and extremely helpful, but always respecting our space - thank you for these wonderful weeks in Porthcawl. Hide
