There are three cottages at this location, which together sleep up to 13. Minfford Cottage sleeps 4, Sea View also sleeps 4 and Mountain View, which sleeps up to 5. They are located close to the north east coast of Anglesey, just a mile from the beautiful beach at Lligwy, where there is also a pub serving good food, two miles from Moelfre, a picturesque village with convenience store/bakery and further eating places, and three miles from Benllech, with small supermarkets and other facilities. Lligwy also has some interesting archaeological features - an ancient burial chamber and hut circle.
The cottages stand in landscaped lawned grounds, and there is a shared children's play area in a paddock nearby. The regular low-floor bus service stops just 100 metres or so from the cottages. This is an excellent location for relaxing on the beach or taking part in more active watersports: sailing, windsurfing and sea fishing facilities nearby, as well as coastal walking, coarse fishing and golf. Some of Anglesey's key attractions include Rib Ride Boat Tours, Anglesey Sea Zoo, Pili Palas butterfly farm, Beaumaris Castle and South Stack Lighthouse. It is also just a short drive across either of Anglesey's famous road bridges to the north coast of Wales and the Snowdonia National Park.
