Switch off from the outside world and surround yourself with wildlife-rich countryside and coastlines. This fabulous bell tent – one of only four on a 2-acre field just 50 metres from the beach – boasts its own bathroom facilities and fire pit, plus shared use of a games barn and play area.
Located on a pretty Pembrokeshire farm, this rural retreat offers complete versatility whether you’re looking for a romantic couples’ escape or somewhere to reconnect with the family. Set on a raised decking area, it’s chic and cosy inside with carpets, a sofa, storage shelves and a coffee table adding creature comforts. A double bed and two singles beckon when it’s time to sleep; the singles can be removed if you don’t need them, while larger families have the option of extra Z-beds if required. Ensuring a complete break from the everyday there’s no Wi-Fi, but you will have electricity plus your own WC and shower block. An outdoor sink gives you somewhere to wash-up, supplementing the facilities in the shared kitchen on-site. Children can let off steam on the football field, or for all-weather fun head to the games barn for some pool, football and table tennis action. Afterwards, fire up the BBQ, light the fire pit and relax in the fresh sea air – a picnic bench is provided.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes within metres, and Jubilee Beach is within easy reach. Two circular lime kilns dating from the 19th century add interest, while less than a mile south the village of Dale offers a wonderful coastal escape, with plenty of opportunities for water sports. Marloes Sands lies just 3 miles away. St Ann’s Head (3 miles) has great views towards Skokholm – popular with puffins and kittiwakes. You might be lucky enough to spot dolphins in the water.
