A double bed and two singles offer blissful slumber; the singles can be removed if you don’t need them, while larger families have the option of adding two Z-beds if required. The WC and shower block beside your tent ensures privacy and convenience, while the attached washing-up sink supplements the facilities in a shared kitchen. With no Wi-Fi, children are encouraged to make their own entertainment – there’s a football field on-site, and for all-weather fun the games barn is good for pool, football and table tennis action. Park then forget about the car – the Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes within metres before crossing the shingle ridge that separates nearby Jubilee Beach from a wildlife-rich lagoon, while two 19th-century lime kilns add local archaeological interest. Less than a mile south, Dale is popular for water sports, with a village pub and café close to its beach, while 3 miles cross-country pristine Marloes Sands (3 miles) is a lovely spot for swimming. At the southern tip of the peninsula, St Ann’s Head (3 miles) delivers views towards Skokholm, an island haven for puffins, kittiwakes and more. Porpoises and dolphins are regularly seen in the waters between.
