For a traditional bucket and spade day at the seaside, the beautiful beaches and coves along Cardigan Bay, including Poppit Sands and Newport Sands, can be reached within 5.5 miles. Keen walkers can join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path on the doorstep, with miles of breathtaking scenery awaiting to be explored. The Preseli Hills, 18 miles away, offer an idyllic spot for a walk; the hike to the Foel Eryr summit (14 miles) is particularly picturesque.
