Set in a peaceful corner of Pembrokeshire, this beautifully renovated cottage provides a tranquil escape amid one of Wales’ most enchanting coastlines. Set amid a small complex of holiday cottages, this dog-friendly abode provides flexible accommodation for up to four guests, making it ideal for couples, small families or small groups of friends. Wander out to explore cliff-top trails and watch for grey seals frolicking offshore, then return to unwind in the small spa.
Inside, elegant simplicity defines the open-plan living space where the lounge, kitchen and dining area invite you to socialise and relax together. Rich tones and natural wood and stone textures set a calming mood, while the wood burner adds a comforting glow after days of adventuring. Rustle up home-cooked treats in the sophisticated kitchen before gathering around the bench-style dining table, then sink into plush seating to watch TV or just enjoy quality time together. When night falls, head along the corridor to find two soothing bedrooms, both with super-king-size zip-and-link beds which can be made into twins. They share use of a sleek, contemporary bathroom. Outside, an enclosed patio with outdoor dining furniture invites lazy afternoons gazing across to the Preseli Hills and dinner and drinks beneath the stars. The cottage enjoys shared use of a bookable mini spa, with a hot tub, sauna and shower, as well as a shared yoga space and shared laundry, plus there’s private parking for two cars.
Wander out to follow a short path through a wooded valley to Ceibwr Bay, famed for its rugged beauty, caves and wildlife, or follow a 6-mile trail to Poppit Sands (3.5-mile drive), passing cliffs bursting with seabirds and seal colonies. Inland, the Preseli Hills offer abundant walks, past Iron Age settlements, along hilly trails and through wooded valleys. The historic town of Cardigan (5 miles) appeals with its Norman castle and lively cultural scene.
