Holiday cottages and self-catering accommodation in Caersws

Set on the River Severn, Caersws is a village in Powys, Mid Wales. It has its own station, linking it to Shrewsbury in one direction, and Aberystwyth in the other. Amongst our collection of Mid Wales cottages are a variety of holiday cottages in Caersws, from which you can enjoy days out at attractions including the Llanfair and Welshpool Light Railway (14 miles), Gregynog Hall (8 miles) and Powis Castle (20 miles). With a choice of pubs, a fish and chip shop, a butcher and a couple of grocery stores, there’s plenty to keep you fed and watered in the village if you don’t want to venture too far.

When you’re staying in one of our Caersws cottages, don’t miss a visit to Mid Wales Arts – a not-for-profit arts centre with exhibitions and regular events. Also, keep an eye on events at Porth Farm, where there’s a sunflower area, a maize maze and pumpkin picking (all seasonal). For a stroll on a fine day, Llyn Mawr Nature Reserve is a lovely place to relax and unwind. To explore further afield, hop on the train, and you could be breathing in the fresh sea air of the coastal resort of Aberystwyth in an hour and ten minutes. All this is within easy reach of our holiday cottages in Caersws. Browse all of our self-catering accommodation in Caersws for your Wales holiday here, and you’ll soon be packing your bags for a memorable trip! You can also expand your search to include all of our holiday cottages in Powys.
