The period property oozes rustic charm, with fascinating original features and quirky touches throughout. The accommodation is arranged across three floors, with a few steps leading to the ground floor which houses a stylish shower room. From here, follow the stairs to the elegant double bedroom, featuring an ornate bedframe and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the surrounding countryside. A pleasant small apartment in an old priory. Many features still remaining. Limited natural light but not dark. Modern, well equipped kitchen. Enormous, comfortable bed and warm but snug bathroom. Not sure that the accommodation would work for 3 people and definitely not for a young child....main bedroom on ground floor and single bed 2 floors abovRead moree. The small garden at the back of the accommodation could be tidied and made more attractive and practical. Would recommend but with some reservations. Booking and contact with accommodation was very difficult Hide

A lovely stay and a perfect location for getting to Puzzlewood (15 minutes) and Symonds Yat (stunning walk around the river with a great little boat to cross the water). Accommodation was clean, modern and had everything we needed. The little cafe on site was wonderful. Great selection of cake and also did cooked breakfasts - however check opening Read moretimes if you're just there in the week. I would happily return here, very quiet, walks on the doorstep and beautiful landscape. Hide

Lovely accommodation but poorly managed. Unfortunately we were not able to get into the property for several hours after the check-in time as despite messaging the number given to arrange key collection 24 hours prior, and calling several times upon arrival, there was no response. We then had to escalate to Holiday Cottages and wait a further hour Read moreuntil someone turned up. Hide

A wonderful place to stay - full of character and history, and located near so many attractions and sites of interest. I would definitely recommend Flanesford Priory to anyone. Staff were lovely and so helpful, too. Five Stars all the way!

A comfortable apartment, ideal for two people. Great to have basics provided, ie washing up liquid, cloths, tea towels, tea and coffee. Plenty of wardrobe space for hanging clothes. The shower had a good flow of water and the bed was comfortable. Nice and peaceful too!

I would not recommend this apartment to anyone with ANY mobility issue. The wet room is very tight and shower difficult to access. The village may not be far but with no pavement and difficult to access the off road path (steep climb) it is not an easy walk

Great little accomodation, super comfy bed & sofa. Location is good for easy travel. Couple of good dog walks from the property without needing to take the car out. Onsite tearoom open at the weekends was a nice feature. We took a dog, no off lead area to walk but wasn't a big issue for us. Only negatives for us was the kitchen lacked worktop spaceRead more and room for your food to be stored away. The noise from the neighbouring lets does come through the walls which surprised us as they look so thick. Hide

Great apartment with stunning views. Although on the small size it was great for a few days away. Great period charm and decor. Some good walks along the River Wye from the house and local wildlife.
