Holiday cottages and self-catering accommodation in Corwen

Standing on the banks of the River Dee beneath the Berwyn Mountains, 11 miles west of Llangollen, is the lovely town of Corwen. Our holiday cottages in Corwen, North Wales,  are well located for walking in the rugged Berwyn Hills mountain range, which are peaceful and scenic, with highlights such as Pystyll Rhaeadr waterfall, and Lake Vyrnwy. To the northwest of Corwen is Llyn Brenig Reservoir and Visitor Centre (14.5 miles). Here you’ll find a shop, cafe and a 10.5-mile circular walk around the lake making for a lovely day out from one of our Denbighshire cottages.

It's not far to take a day trip to Bala (12 miles) from our Corwen cottages. The historic market town is a jumping-off point for all sorts of activities including sailing, canoeing, mountain biking and hiking. Explore the surrounding Penllyn mountain ranges on foot, or get the adrenalin pumping with a rafting experience at the National White Water Rafting Centre. A little closer to our self-catering accommodation in Corwen is the North Wales Owl Sanctuary, where you can book a keeper experience. The seasonal Amgueddfa Corwen Museum in town is also worth a visit. Book a stay in one of our Corwen holiday homes today, or browse our entire collection of North Wales cottages and you’ll soon find yourself looking forward to your holiday in Wales.
